The Role

Overview

Prepare and manage bids/proposals for offshore pipe system projects, coordinating teams and pricing.

Tasks

-Preparing comprehensive handover documentation for seamless transition to the project delivery team. -Be able to review customer documentation and extract technical and commercial requirements. -Reviewing customer documentation to extract and understand technical and commercial requirements. -Collaborating with regional teams and commercial managers to define competitive pricing levels. -Chairing risk assessment meetings and capture critical feedback for inclusion in bid strategies. -Reviewing Letters of Intent (LOI) and Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure alignment with the bid scope. -Contributing to the Deal Review approval process, ensuring alignment across technical and financial inputs. -Managing customer clarifications and ensure timely, accurate responses during the proposal phase. -Distributing internal RFQ packages to relevant engineering and commercial teams. -Coordinating all follow-up activities leading to successful contract award. -Coordinating the bidding process across departments to ensure timely and accurate proposal development. -Preparing detailed cost estimates aligned with customer specifications and project scope. -Developing and submitting proposal documentation in accordance with customer deadlines.

What You Bring

-Have Extensive experience in proposals, commercial operations, or technical sales within energy or engineering sectors. -Be an effective communicator with the ability to present bid strategies and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. -Have a collaborative mindset with experience working across engineering, commercial, and regional teams. -Be proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office and proposal management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP). -Have a Strong understanding of RFQ processes, bid coordination, and proposal lifecycle management. -Have experience leading risk assessments and contributing to deal review and approval processes. -Be skilled in costing, pricing strategy, and preparing detailed cost models aligned with customer specifications.
