Overview

Senior Full-Stack Engineer building large-scale API-driven web apps for real estate platforms.

Tasks

-Drive and lead software design, development standards, code reviews and production releases -Collaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization. -Identify and resolve issues related to database performance and integrity -Build large-scale, distributed, API-driven systems for critical internal applications -Design, document and implement efficient and scalable database structures -Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.

What You Bring

-Experience with Docker and container orchestration a plus. -3+ years of database design, T-SQL programming, and performance tuning experience -Experience in architecting, designing and building event-driven applications in an agile environment -5+ years of production development experience with .NET Core with the ability to integrate front-end components into a scalable, secure, and maintainable backend architecture -Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, SQS, Kafka, Redis a plus. -Production development experience using modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) -Proficiency in unit and performance testing -A track record of commitment to previous employers -Willingness to take an active role in mentoring other developers. -Experience with Document Data Systems (Dynamo, OpenSearch) a plus. -Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college -Comfortable working across the stack with Node.js on the server-side -Excellent software development and engineering skills on large scale, mission-critical applications -Experience working on a SOX compliant team a plus
