Overview

Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Oversee the drafting, review, and execution of contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders. -Manage contract changes, claims, and amendments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. -Ensure contract compliance and performance monitoring across all stakeholders. -Provide training and mentorship to contract administration staff. -Lead negotiations of contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Develop and maintain contract management systems and reporting tools. -Lead and manage the contracts administration team across assigned projects. -Collaborate with legal, risk, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies. -Provide strategic guidance on contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation. -Report regularly to senior leadership on contract status, risks, and opportunities.

What You Bring

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Certification in Contract Management (e.g., NCMA, CCCM, CPCM) is an asset. -Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., CCDC, FIDIC), and procurement processes. -8+ years of experience in contract administration or management, preferably in construction or engineering. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Proven leadership experience in managing contract teams and complex contract portfolios. -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. -Experience with large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. -Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software. -Regular, reliable attendance
