Tasks
In this you will be responsible for the repair business, including field operations, customer satisfaction and overall general business management. -Achieve all financial performance targets including profit and working capital -Regularly perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans -Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates -Conduct field education training ensuring that will create and maintain a safe working environment -Direct, supervise, and lead the performance of field operations for the Modernization & Repair side of Otis’ business -Coordinate all material deliveries and issuing purchase orders -Supervise mechanics and installation teams -Forecast and schedule labor resources ensuring successful project completion, maintaining customer quality assurance, and improving efficiencies

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Manager, Repair Ops to drive productivity and the performance projects for the branch and customers. -Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment -Strong leadership skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills -Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers -Must be able to develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients and others in contact with the job -Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software -Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities -Elevator industry experience or an experience leading field level associates/technicians in a similar industry preferred -High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
