Overview

Fabricate steel parts per blueprints, weld, cut, and operate equipment.

Tasks

-Heat straighten using torch. -Lay out rises, slopes and bevels using framing squares. -Lay out and build fixtures. -Operate cutting torch. -Operate overhead pendent controlled bridge crane safely and efficiently. -Utilize impact wrench to tighten bolts. -Operate radiograph/ track torch. -Operate 90° angle grinder. -Interpret structural steel blue prints (shop drawings).

What You Bring

-Be able to camber. -Fabricate truss and rolled beam. -Pass tack weld test in 3F and 4F positions with F4 electrode group. -Be qualified welder (class "C").
