Tasks
Our client is seeking a hands-on Automation Maintenance Technician to support electrical and mechanical systems across their Leola manufacturing facility. This role focuses on maintaining, programming, and troubleshooting PLC-based automation systems while performing a broad range of electromechanical maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and uptime. -Troubleshoot and repair automated machinery, electrical panels, sensors, and drives. -Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. -Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify automation improvements. -Document system configurations, maintenance logs, and electrical updates. -Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo systems. -Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. -Install, program, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs and associated control systems. -Support system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives related to automation. -Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.

What You Bring
-Proficient with electrical test equipment and mechanical repair tools. -Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred). -Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology (or equivalent experience). -Experience in manufacturing or process-driven environments highly preferred. -Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or within a cross-functional team.
