Tasks

-Work closely with the client team liaising on multiple projects -Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. -Lead design team meetings & provide regular updates to senior management on project progress. -Manage the project design budget and timeline -Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and industry regulations. -Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create cost-effective and efficient designs -Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements -Implement & maintain quality control procedures throughout the design & construction process. -Maintain effective communication with the customer on all agreed actions to ensure that any issues are resolved to their satisfaction.

What You Bring

-Experience of managing document management systems. -Ability to communicate with a range of people at all levels, both verbally and in writing. -Ability to plan, organise and manage all aspects of the design. -Proven experience as a Design Manager/Senior Design Manager for a main contractor. -A good knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations, -Experience of working within the construction industry, specifically on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects. -Ability to make reasoned and informed commercial judgements and design decisions. -Client and customer focused to build productive relationships.
