Tasks

-Partner with plant leadership and the Senior Health and Safety Manager to develop and implement safety programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements. -Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety. -Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and other relevant health and safety standards. -Lead accident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence. -Conducts and oversees plant safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace hazard evaluations, recommending corrective measures as needed. -Work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns and develop practical, effective solutions. -Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs for all employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. -Champion a safety-first culture by engaging with employees, supervisors, and plant leadership to embed safe work practices into daily operations.

What You Bring

-A bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred. -Experience in conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and developing corrective actions is required. -Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard assessments, and safety program implementation is essential. -Three to five years of health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
