Tasks

-Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights for business unit leadership. -Develop and maintain financial models to support short-term and long-term forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives. -Consult with business unit leaders on the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed financial plans, forecasts, and variance analysis. -Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards. -Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting. -Provide input and support the implementation of data management and quality control systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. -Recommend and assist with implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities. -Partner with business units to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives, capital investments, and cost-saving opportunities. -Partner closely with accounting, operations, and other departments to gather relevant financial information and support cross-functional projects. -Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews, to business unit leadership and stakeholders.

-Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. -Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time. -Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. -Occasional travel as the job may require visiting other sites. -Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. -Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. -In-depth understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial regulations. -Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure. -Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and financial planning software. -Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate environment. -Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
