The Role

Overview

Design and supervise building automation electrical systems for federal projects.

Tasks

-Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and design analyses. -Supervise the installation of the designed systems and equipment. -Design support of electrical systems and related controls. -Building system concepts and documentation process from schematics through construction administration phases.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of building and building system codes (IBC, IECC, IMC, ASHRAE standards and NFPA standards). -Experience with central plants, hydronic, steam/ VRF and energy recovery systems. -4-8+ years of experience designing electrical and low-voltage systems for commercial buildings, health care and federal projects. -This role will require occasional travel to project sites. -Possess general working knowledge of different electrical systems; stay up to date on industry advancements including best-practices for applicability. -Proficient in Revit and building load and energy modeling software including SKM, Bluebeam, AutoCAD -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university. -PE License preferrable (or ability to obtain within six months), LEED accreditation a plus.
