Advise and implement safety, health, environment and quality across operations.

Tasks

-Contribute to SHE improvement initiatives and promote best practices. -Deliver awareness campaigns and toolbox talks to promote a proactive safety culture. -Maintain IMS documentation and our digital SHE platform for managing onsite activities. -Liaise with teams to embed compliance into daily operations and report on progress. -Deliver in-house training and mentoring to your colleagues to develop competencies. -Coordinate internal audits and support external certification processes. -Manage non-site safety processes like DSE assessments and safe office environments. -Advise on project-based aspect and impact assessments. -Support the rollout of our ISO 14001-compliant environmental management system. -Monitor and report on SHE performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. -Lead smaller audits and manage closure of non-conformities. -Lead and support risk assessments, incident investigations, and site inspections. -Act as a key contact for our Integrated Management System (IMS), providing training and guidance.

What You Bring

-A member of a recognised professional institution, e.g. IOSH, IIRSM etc. at Tech IOSH level, working toward Cert IOSH -Experience supporting audits and/or compliance reviews. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools. -Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices. -Willingness to complete formal auditing qualification. -NEBOSH General Certificate level qualification or equivalent level 3 award -Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards. -Formal environmental training (e.g. IEMA Foundation) or willingness to undertake further training. -Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. -Experience in a H&S, compliance, or management systems role. -Clear communication skills, with confidence to engage colleagues at all levels.
