Tasks

-Oversee the development and execution of talent management strategies, including workforce planning and readiness assessments. -Collaborate with senior leadership to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend structural or cultural changes to improve agility and performance. -Design and implement global learning strategies that support employee growth, leadership development, and business performance. -Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on organizational development, talent strategy, and employee experience. -Monitor DE&I metrics and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and accountability. -Lead the creation and delivery of onboarding programs, including quarterly “Business of Ormat” sessions for new hires. -Partners with HR Business Partners and functional leaders to identify learning needs and deliver targeted development programs. -Promote health & wellness, employee recognition, and corporate social responsibility programs to enhance employee experience and employer brand. -Oversee the development of digital learning platforms and tools to support scalable, accessible learning experiences. -Develop and implement initiatives that advance Ormat’s DE&I strategy, fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. -Evaluate exit interviews and other feedback sources to identify trends and recommend retention strategies. -Travel to domestic and international Ormat facilities as needed to support global initiatives and foster alignment. -Manage performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee development. -Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment of programs across regions.

What You Bring

-The ability to travel when needed, including internationally -Global/International experience preferred -Must have strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, and data analysis skills -Experience using data to identify insights that drive action -Must have the ability to manage details and keep multiple tasks/projects on track -This position requires sitting 80% of the time and standing and walking 20% of the time -Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills -Minimum of 5 – 7 years related professional experience, HR Generalist experience a plus -The ability to work at a computer, and computer monitor, and use repetitive motion for extended -Must be able to use and acquire knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in -Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, the ability to build relationships, -The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results -The ability to occasionally lift twenty pounds -Degree in Human Resources, or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education, PHR or SPHR is preferred -Must be team-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work with cross-functional teams -Requires a good work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality -Strong presentation skills -Must have the ability to work independently and be initiative-taking on issues
