Overview

Lead US repowering projects, manage P&L, drive sales, ensure compliance and team performance

Tasks

-Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitive advantage. -Ensure all Repowering projects comply with PWA and other applicable regulatory requirements and applicable industry standards. -Play an active role in the sales process, working closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and secure Repowering projects? -Implement project management best practices and methodologies to drive project success? -Champion a culture of safety and quality across all repowering projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, implementing policies and procedures that minimize risks and ensure the safety of employees and the communities we serve. -Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to ensure a robust pipeline of business opportunities? -Ensure financial targets are met or exceeded, providing regular financial performance updates to senior management and stakeholders? -Monitor project performance against key metrics and objectives, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve project goals. -Assume full profit and loss responsibility for the Repowering service entity. Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to increase revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability? -Develop and maintain a comprehensive project reporting system to provide timely and accurate updates to the COO and other stakeholders. -Monitor and uphold quality standards in service delivery, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. -Oversee the end-to-end project management of Repowering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards? -Lead the planning and implementation of Repowering projects, ensuring strategic alignment with the company’s growth and profitability targets? -Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Repowering service entity, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives.? -Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Repowering project team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. -Ensure the team has the resources, training, and support needed to achieve their objectives.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated success in leading Repowering or similar large-scale energy projects is essential. -Strong ability in the sales process, from identifying opportunities to closing deals. -Ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects effectively. -Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects. -In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment and industry standards relevant to Repowering projects. -Experience in negotiating contracts and understanding customer needs. -Familiarity with project management software and methodologies. -Ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements to ensure project compliance. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or related disciplines are preferred. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on clean power projects. -Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of building, leading, and motivating teams.
