Overview

Ensure safety compliance on electrical/construction sites via inspections and training

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Maintain accurate records and escalate critical issues swiftly -Champion a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement. -Weekly site inspections and monthly toolbox talks -Trend analysis of near misses and hazards -Collaborate with contractors clients auditors and regulatory bodies -Investigate near misses and incidents with professionalism and precision -Prepare and communicate RAMS COSHH assessments and Construction Phase Plans -Annual review of health and safety policies and procedures. -Contribute to monthly performance reports and internal audits -Deliver impactful toolbox talks inductions and safety briefings -Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other key regulations -Lead regular site audits and inspections across multiple workstreams

• iosh/iirsm
• driving license
• first aid
• 8+ years
• safety legislation

What You Bring

-Detail oriented with excellent record keeping skills -Full UK Driving License and First Aid certification. -Full compliance with onboarding and mandatory training -Assertive yet constructive communication style -NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates Diploma Level6 preferred -Corrective Action Follow-Up: 100% of corrective actions closed within agreed timeframes -Comfortable working at height in confined spaces and across varied site conditions -8 plus years of hands on health and safety experience in electrical or construction sectors -Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation -IOSH IIRSM or IET membership
