Tasks

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team within our Marine Business Unit. You will lead the delivery of fixed-price projects and manage suppliers to support Ministry of Defence (MOD) Naval platform programmes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting bids, overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, expertise in project planning, customer and stakeholder management. -Ensure compliance with Expleo’s QMS, customer processes, and legal regulations. -Ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible -Supporting any existing employee who acquires a disability or long term health condition, enabling them to stay in work at least one activity that will make a difference for disabled people -Support business development and bid activities, including requirements capture, scope definition, cost estimation, and scheduling. -Direct cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables, ensuring timely invoicing aligned with agreed milestones. -Provide consistent stakeholder communication, including progress updates, milestone tracking, and risk reporting. -Manage supplier relationships and coordinate the delivery to support project execution. -Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and proactive engagement. -Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues where necessary. -Communicating and promoting vacancies -Anticipating and providing reasonable adjustments as required -Lead the end-to-end delivery of fixed-price projects, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget targets are consistently met. -Offering an interview to disabled people who meet the minimum criteria for the job -Maintain commercial control through regular review cycles and KPI reporting to leadership. -Develop and maintain detailed project plans, applying robust monitoring, control, and change management processes.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in delivering complex engineering projects, ideally within the defence or marine sectors. -UK National, SC cleared or eligible for SC -Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and methodologies aligned with APM BoK or PMP standards. -Experience in performance management of teams and individuals. -Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. -Experience in project management, including fixed-price delivery. -Strong project planning, monitoring, and change control capabilities. -Background in naval supply chain projects. -Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., APM, PMP) is preferred -Expertise in stakeholder engagement and supplier management. -Experience with safety-related work in marine or defence environments. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. -High level of contractual and financial acumen.
