What You Bring

-Professional Engineer (PE) license -Knowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) as applicable to telecommunications design requirements -At least 6 years of relevant experience in telecommunications design and construction industry -Knowledge & application of telecommunications industry association (TIA) standards -Experience editing design and construction specifications -Knowledge and design experience with emergency responder radio and DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) -Experience leading telecommunications design team -Proficiency with Bluebeam -Strong structured cabling design background -Experience with start-up and commissioning of telecommunications systems -Experience estimating and scheduling design efforts for large multi-building projects with multiple phases and design packages -Effective verbal and written communication skills -At least 4 years of telecommunications design experience in semiconductor or data center industries -Other certifications, such as BICSI OSP (Outside Plant) or BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager) -BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International), RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) credential, or the ability to obtain in 6 months -Knowledge and design experience of telecommunications infrastructure for life safety and security systems; fire alarm, access control, CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) -Project management experience -Familiarity with Navisworks -Knowledge of telecom infrastructure for control systems -Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks design software platforms -Experience in providing assurance and checking of telecommunications systems designed by others -Two-year technical degree or four-year non-technical degree
