Tasks
-Apply technical skills to successfully deliver complex projects while providing expert guidance to promote innovation and creativity. -Evaluate project challenges, identify and develop solutions to mitigate risks, and identify opportunities in the future. -As a project lead, evaluate project challenges, identify and develop solutions for new projects, mitigate risks, and develop opportunities in the future. -Produce or assist in developing fee proposals and presentations. -Review calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements. -Ensuring all additional work undertaken is appropriately identified and additional fees are claimed where appropriate. -Monitor the quality control on projects to ensure the company quality standards are being achieved, prepare calculations /specifications and drawings, ensuring they comply with the clients brief. -Complete project references/presentations to be utilised for marketing purposes. Including developing a deep network of contacts within the industry and with clients. -Review all calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure they are appropriate and comply with the client brief. -Support coordination and ensuring they are delivered to the highest technical standards. -Conduct performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and identify skill gaps and opportunities for learning & development as a line manager. -Support project delivery in providing public health design engineering services to a varied client base. Projects will be varied from complex high value large commercial, fit-out and refurbishments to minor schemes. -Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving. -Communicate effectively with senior clients and stakeholders, assessing project variations and recommending necessary adjustments.

What You Bring
-Proven experience in commercial (new build, refurbishments, and fit-out), residential, and mixed-use developments from concept to detailed design. -MSc or BSc in Building Services Engineering Design, with Chartered Engineer status and professional membership of SoPHE are desirable. -Strong technical expertise through client presentations, building trust and fostering relationships both internally and externally. -Expertise in Public Health Design Engineering, covering domestic hot and cold water services, soil, waste, rainwater drainage, and both above and below ground drainage. -Experience with rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, solar hot water, and innovative design solutions is advantageous. -A proactive, adaptable, and approachable engineer with excellent client-facing and communication skills, demonstrating initiative at all levels. -Demonstrate leadership, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail to ensure project milestones are met and successful outcomes achieved. -Strong knowledge of Building Services Engineering Systems, including their performance, application, and operation.
