Tasks
-Accomplishes majority of survey tasks with limited interaction with supervisors and/or Land Surveyors -Communicates effectively with, and meets the needs of the client representative, governing agent and public representatives involved in each project; keeps the client field representative informed as to progress and problems and notifies when job is complete -Communicates effectively with project manager as to project progress, problems, client change requests and job completion -Supervises a crew which conducts field surveys as defined by the project manager

What You Bring
-Ability to travel as needed -Ability to demonstrate organizational skills, including attention to detail -Proficiency in construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys -5+ years of experience working on a survey crew with ability to lead crew -Strong written and oral communication skills -A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR). -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines. -Valid driver’s license.
