The Role

Overview

Assist with design, analysis, and field work for municipal wastewater projects.

Tasks

-The selected individual should expect to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires but an emphasis will be placed primarily on studies, evaluations, designs, and rehabilitation of wastewater and stormwater collection systems, and related projects. -Will often visit job sites to perform project tasks including, manhole inspections, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation. -The office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports. -The selected individual will assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.

What You Bring

-Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills -Strong written and verbal communication skills -EIT Certification in Massachusetts is a plus -Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as required -Background in hydraulics is a plus -Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software products -Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering -Industrial wastewater treatment or operations experience is a plus -Valid drivers license required -A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertaken -Proficiency in use of Microsoft excel for data analysis
