The Role

Overview

Operate various cranes safely, conduct inspections, maintain records, and follow safety protocols.

Tasks

-Inspects and assesses ground conditions as well as any possible overhead obstructions -Maintain logs and records of operational activities -Maintain equipment through daily inspections, to include performance of routine maintenance and minor repairs. -Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment -Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations, and respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly -Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines ensuring the right selection and set up is made regarding crane, lift or hoist

What You Bring

-Ability to sit for long periods of time -Class A CDL -Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements -Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain all logs and operate machinery -Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions -Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly -High school diploma or equivalent -Must have strong ability work well within a team environment. -Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes -Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary -Ability to work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold -Strong depth perception and quick reaction time -Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records
