Verify insurance benefits and secure prior authorizations for specialty home infusion drugs.

Tasks

-Perform monthly re-verifications. -Perform benefit verifications through medical and pharmacy benefits. -Troubleshoot pharmacy claims rejections. -Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve benefit issues. -Submit and obtain prior authorizations with insurance companies.

What You Bring

-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. -Prior authorization experience. -Understanding of HCPCs codes. -Knowledge of pharmacy benefits. -Experience with data entry. -Customer service experience. -Pharmacy technician license/cert is not required. -Experience in specialty pharmacy, call center, insurance, and medical insurance. -Experience with Major Medical Insurance. -Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/PDFs. -Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.). -Minimum 1 year of experience in home infusion therapy or equivalent clinical exposure.
