Inspect road, grading, excavation and bridge projects to ensure compliance with plans.

Tasks

-Inspect, observe, and ensure construction projects—including road construction, mass grading and excavation and bridges are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications. -Travel to project sites as required. -Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients. -Prepare and maintain records of plans, inspections, letters, and reports used in connection with roadway and bridge inspection. -Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.

What You Bring

-Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams to obtain them preferred. -Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or related field -A clean driving record. -Good knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of roadway grading, paving and bridge operations. -Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
