Tasks

-Maintain HR Data and documentation to a high standard -Answer telephone enquiries and follow up as necessary -Review changes to terms and conditions letters and make recommendations for change -Proactively and continuously review process and make recommendations to improve efficiency -Maintain & monitor records of staff absence due to sickness, holidays, maternity etc and administer any pay adjustments as required -Produce and issue employment contracts and offer letters for new starters, and upload to HR system -Liaise with staff at various levels, both internal and external and provide guidance on day to day administration issues and basic policy queries -Process probationary and career reports, inputting outcome onto the HR system -Raise any administration inconsistencies or areas of concern with the HR Administration Manager -Monitor and administer maternity/paternity requests -Respond to reference requests as required -Administer amendments to staff records and produce contractual letters e.g. pay awards, transfers and promotions -Administer leavers and deal with any pertinent issues e.g. training debts, holiday entitlement

What You Bring

-AT least 1 year administration experience is essential -To have a broad understanding of the legal consequences related to contractual documents -Ability to prioritise and work towards tight deadlines -Attention to detail -To have a detailed knowledge of HR policies and understand the legalities around these policies -Productions of basic HR reports and be competent in using The HR Database and associated systems -Excellent IT skills -Accurate data inputting skills
