Senior Chiller Technician

Overview

Maintain, repair, and inspect chiller/HVAC systems, ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Tasks

-Prepare Technical Reports & Root cause analysis -Perform regularly scheduled maintenance & Maintain maintenance records -Keep customer informed with the task nature & progress upon site arrival & prior leaving work site. Share outstanding issues & suggested enhancements / recommendations -Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work -Repair and replace damaged parts -Prepare Inspection reports (Site condition, SOW & Technical recommendations) -Make estimates of labor hours & materials required -Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated team -Preparation & filling of inspection reports / Technical reports -Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks (Understand & follow oral and written directions) -Attend regular (EH&S / Technical) Trainings & meetings -Inspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation & diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and make recommendations -Fill up Job Completion Certificate / Job Card / EH&S site surveys -Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safely -Manage & organize machinery tools pickup, delivery, usage & inventory as applicable -Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; cleans coils, blowers, checks motors, and belt tensions -Attend & complete assigned tasks within assigned time to the best ability and ensure quality services & customer satisfaction. Leave site clean & neat -Identify situations that require escalation or elevation to Supervisor or Manager for guidance or need to request additional support

What You Bring

-Able to rig & properly set up gantry for safely lifting equipment, overhauling pumps, chillers etc. -Basic understanding & knowledge in Metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & Building Automation controls -Overall understanding & complying with quality management practices as per company standards & any other applicable quality standards -Possess basic knowledge of computers and cell phone apps -Scroll Chillers -Screw Chillers -A valid driving license is a plus -Principles and practices of HVAC equipment’s maintenance and repair inline with industry practices & manufacturer’s guidelines -Hazar & Safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheets. -5 – 8 years of working experience in the HVAC industry / field -Communication & inter-personal skills, team player & customer oriented -Good English knowledge in terms of speaking, writing, reading & listening -Work independently in the absence of supervision -Centrifugal Chillers -DX & Airside Equipment -Diploma (or equivalent) in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Field -Reciprocating chillers
