The Role

Overview

Manage project finances, billing, budgets, and reporting for architectural/engineering projects.

Tasks

-Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and document collection attempts, providing updates on payment status to clients and project leadership -Review and link contracts to projects, ensuring consistency with staffing and revenue forecasts -Set up and maintain accurate project information in the project management system -Coordinate client insurance certificates for projects as needed -Monitor reimbursable and direct expenses billed to projects -Provide financial reports, respond to inquiries, research accounting issues, and process fee adjustments in collaboration with Project Leadership. -Collaborate with project leadership on monthly draft invoice reviews and six-month revenue projections -Assist in maintaining project budgets and analyzing project costs versus revenue and billings -Provide effective financial management of projects by processing invoices, facilitating time transfers and cash receipts, and assisting Project Leadership in meeting profitability goals. -Ensure timely and accurate invoicing by reviewing contract documentation, approving employee timesheets, and unposted labor reports

What You Bring

-Previous experience in an administrative support role -Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. -Knowledge of accounting principles, customer service, and administrative procedures -Experience in an A/E (architecture/engineering) firm -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills -High school diploma or equivalent
