Tasks

-Creating and reviewing Protection & Control settings designs -Performing any entry-level engineering role in the design aspects of engineering projects and assisting other departmental engineers -Planning and coordinating projects with limited supervision -Understanding and delivering results based on client-specific standards and requirements -Creating and reviewing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) settings -Performing on-site engineering support when needed -Reviewing current industry best practices to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements -Creating and reviewing RTU settings designs -Training and developing junior personnel -Performing protection studies and analyses to develop basis documents and relay setting files -Designing and configuring operating characteristics of managed switches and LANs -Leading portions of a project while working on a team to reach a common goal

What You Bring

-B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. -Programming knowledge or experience with protection relays and other substation equipment -All job offers are subject to pre-employment drug screening and a background check. -Must be 18 years of age or older. -Knowledge of basic engineering theory, practices, and procedures -2-5 years of experience in relay/protection engineering or related industry required. -Unless otherwise noted, we do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
