Tasks

-Ensure compliance with design standards and specifications. -Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including civil and traffic engineers -Serve as primary liaison with clients -Lead client meetings, public outreach, and stakeholder coordination as needed. -Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control. -Review and approve technical reports, design plans, and traffic studies. -Manage all phases of roadway design projects from concept through construction documentation.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering -12+ years of experience in roadway and traffic design -Ability to manage multiple technical assignments simultaneously to complete assignments to the client's satisfaction while maintaining schedule and budget. -Self-starter with the ability to participate collaboratively and also drive outcomes to satisfy client and project requirements -Experience working on projects for agencies in the New York City Metro area including but not limited to NYCDDC, PANYNJ, NYCDEP, MTA, NYSDOT, and NYCDOT -Demonstrated experience in project delivery including the management of client relationships and project deliverables -Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation -Strong technical competence and working relationships with clients -Excellent communication skills and work ethic -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. -Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State required
