Tasks

-Process Hazard Assessments -Perform safety risk assessments/analyses, inspections, and observations as part of implementing effective EHS programs, procedures, practices, and standard work to ensure regulatory compliance and protect personnel and the environment. -Assist with collection, review, and analysis of field data to evaluate conditions, present information, and implement effective solutions. -Ensure quality standards on project deliverables and correspondence. -Build strong collaborative relationships with our clients and other ERM employees. -Help develop and implement innovative EHS programs and strategies in the areas of Hazard Communication (HazComm), Injury Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP), Chemical Management, Occupational Health, Safety Management Systems, Process Safety and Risk Management (PSM), Industrial Hygiene, and technical support. -Support EHS communication in various client environments, while assuring safe operating procedures are implemented and followed. -Work with project team to enthusiastically and effectively implement assignments for client. -Manage a variety of tasks to achieve scope, budget and schedule targets while ensuring we meet and exceed our clients' expectations on deliverables. -Investigate accidents, incidents, or issues, identifying and/or implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. -Providing onsite client support to help solve their most pressing EHS challenges. -Develop an understanding of how your work affects our clients’ business objectives and help them achieve these objectives as an extension of their EHS team -Assist global innovative companies develop solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues and concerns.

What You Bring

-Chemical or Lab Safety -Ability to effectively communicate and send clear, concise, and consistent messages, both verbally and written, with team members, leadership, and client customers including presenting tangible information to management. -Ability to work independently (with guidance and direction) and in a team setting. -OHST/ASP/GSP/AHMM certifications or similar qualifications / experience. -Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E -Knowledge of California state and local EHS regulations as well as best industry practices. -Hold a valid driver’s license and good driving record. -Ability to travel to and be at client site(s) for up to 40 hours/week primarily within the San Francisco Bay Area and -1+ years of relevant experience in working with significant private-sector clients. -Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solver, has project management skills and strong focus on results, and ability to work independently. -Laser Safety -Bachelors’ in safety, occupational health, engineering, or related science degree and/or work experience (2 years of experience is equivalent to 1 year education). -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments (tasks and deliverables) concurrently. -Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and diverse environment, where support responsibilities may be shared. -Working understanding of relevant local, state and federal regulations and how they apply to specific industries. -Robotics Safety
