Demonstrated proficiency with industry standard resources, tools and best practices as well as provincial environmental legislation and policy (proficiency under municipal and federal jurisdictions is considered an asset).
Professional designation (i.e., P.Biol, P.Ag. or equivalent),with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
Recognized for expertise in chosen area of specialization, with a general understanding of other disciplines.
A strong track record in Health and Safety management.
Strong knowledge and practice of environmental regulatory requirements in the Western Provinces and Northern Territories.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, ecology, environmental sciences or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and the public. Public consultation experience is an asset.
