Interpret mechanical specifications and contract documents to guide accurate modeling and detailing efforts.
Attend coordination meetings, field walks, and BIM reviews to represent the installation perspective.
Assist the BIM/VDC team with model QA/QC by identifying installation conflicts, clearance/access issues, and inconsistencies with field practices.
Support clash detection processes and offer resolution strategies from a field perspective.
Serve as the subject matter expert for field-based mechanical piping installation methods and best practices.
Help ensure deliverables meet fabrication and installation milestones by aligning virtual construction with field execution schedules.
Provide ongoing feedback to modelers and detailers regarding practical installation solutions and sequencing.
Review and provide feedback on shop drawings and fabrication deliverables to ensure constructability and compliance with contract specifications.

Exceptional communication and coordination skills to bridge field and virtual workflows.
Experience with ACC, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred.
Experience collaborating with BIM/VDC teams or exposure to 3D modeling platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP).
Experience in mechanical coordination and preconstruction planning.
Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and piping isometrics.
Certifications in pipefitting, plumbing, or relevant trades are a plus.
8+ years of experience in mechanical piping installation in a field or superintendent role, fabrication and layout experience a plus.
Familiarity with prefabrication processes and modular piping systems.
Comfortable in construction site environments and office-based model review settings.
Strong understanding of mechanical specifications, contract documents, and piping standards.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. The employee must be capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting within OSHA ergonomic safety guidelines. Safe lifting techniques must be used to comply with all applicable workplace safety standards.
