Sr. MMS Funtional Engineer

Overview

Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Hitachi ABB MMS for energy markets.

Tasks

-Manage user access controls and enforce security best practices. -Validate and test MMS configurations to ensure alignment with market and operational requirements. -Validate data sources and ensure accessibility for market operations. -Ensure system compliance with regulatory standards, including NERC CIP. -Ensure seamless data integration between MMS, SCADA, EMS, and other external systems using protocols like ICCP and CIM. -Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues. -Monitor system health and optimize the performance of MMS components. -Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline system installations, patching, and maintenance processes. -Perform system upgrades and apply infrastructure patches, including Oracle and third-party software. -Maintain detailed documentation for installations, configurations, and system changes. -Continuously improve system deployment workflows for efficiency and repeatability. -Install and configure the Hitachi ABB MMS on Linux-based platforms. -Generate periodic reports on system performance, upgrades, and patching activities.
