Field Coordinator

Overview

Assist in field coordination, documentation, quality, safety, and scheduling for construction projects.

Tasks

-Assists with updating drawings and specifications. -Assists in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections. -Prepares quantity takeoffs. -Documents field records for quality, production, labor, and materials. -Assists the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes and billings and workforce planning -Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders. -Conducts basic safety inspections and training, identifies and corrects safety hazards, and leads by example in safety practices and procedures. -Assists with schedules and monitoring performance. -Assists with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade or a related field. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology. -Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Government security clearance. -Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. -Bilingualism in English and French is an asset. -Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners. -0-1 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred. -Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
