Tasks

-Day-to-day running and monitoring of Engineering Systems – generate reports, analyse and interpret application performance, identify potential system improvements and close out identified problems. -Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the Engineering applications. -Create, Manage and Test SCCM packages associated with the Engineering applications. -Management and support of the applications shared on the Group Engineering Application website. -Monitor and report on licensing, account access and use across the Engineering applications. -Identification, configuration and deployment of new functionality, applications and upgrades of Engineering Software to the global engineering teams. -Provide support to the Infrastructure Team on Engineering Systems server infrastructure, processes, scheduled tasks and application monitoring. -Gather requirements and justification for system development and support for the Engineering applications. -Participate, coordinate and document existing and future Engineering applications through testing programs to generate justification and deliver project sign-off with the Engineering Leaders.

What You Bring

-You have 5 years’ experience of Engineering Systems support. -Ability to fault find to root cause using industry recognised methods and techniques. -You are a keen, self-starter with aptitude to learn and be a great team player. -You have a Degree in IT or an Engineering discipline. -You can attain UK Security Check (SC) clearance. -You have a technical hands-on background with Application and/or Hardware support.
