Overview

Tasks

-Perform lightning and insulation coordination studies. -Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. -Interior and exterior lighting design using Visual lighting. -Perform calculation & selection of Motors, Drives, AC, Load calculations & cable selections based upon application & design standards. -Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients -Help resolve EE oriented Change Request Notices and Request for Information. -Perform detailed calculation to compute and establish manufacturing, site and installation, standards, and specifications. -Design Engineering, implement, maintain, and Improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, Components, Products and systems for commercial & industrial purposes. -Selection and sizing of UPS for SCADA system and three phase inverters on site. -Resolve RFIs and FCRs. -Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conforms to standards and customer requirements. -Perform electrical studies for Voltage drop, Load Flow, Short circuit, Motor starting, Protective device coordination, Arc flash analysis using SKM / Easypower software -Prepare grounding and bonding plan for new equipment. -Preparation of design criteria, one-line diagrams and specification for electrical equipment. -Develop electrical drawings using AutoCAD. -Design wiring and conduit drawings using AutoCAD. -Maintain NAMS and cable & raceway program. -Assist in developing construction drawings and review work packages.

What You Bring

-Hands on experience in preparation of single line diagrams and panel IGA & EGA drawings, Schematics based upon technical specifications, requirement of customer. -Ability to produce electrical design on a multi-discipline project -Tools Knowledge: AutoCAD Electrical, SKM, Easypower, Visual Lighting, REVIT -Power distribution and calculations including switchboards, panel boards, transformers, wire sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill, cable tray sizing and fill, AIC calculations. -Motor Control Center specification including VFDs and starters. -Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 12-18 years of Electrical design experience. -Knowledge of UL508A, IEC, NEMA, British (BS), European, IS and other standards -Any Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Semiconductor Facilities Engineering experience is highly desired. -Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD (MEP) software is preferred. -Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. -MV, LV and fiber optics cable sizing and routing. -Must also possess good general computer skills including use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
