Track, audit, and manage inventory, ensuring accurate records and stock levels.

Tasks
-Training staff in stocking procedures and product dating methods -Evaluating and managing stock rotation procedures -Operates forklift truck when necessary. -Work with management if products are missing or damaged within a shipment. -Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. -Planning warehouse space usage -Maintaining inventory storage space in the store’s warehouse -Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager. -Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. -Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. -Assisting Procurement on placing inventory restock orders. -Communicating with management about any inventory issues

What You Bring
-Forklift operator certification preferred, not required -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Basic understanding of inventory control procedures -Proficient keyboarding skills -Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, the purchasing department, and outside vendors -Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low. -High School Diploma or equivalent -Minimum of 3 years transferable experience -Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions -Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks. -Ability to perform basic math calculations -Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision -Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
