Tasks

-Assist in managing funding requests, change orders, and cost variance analysis. -Conduct variance analysis and trend reporting to identify risks and opportunities for project improvement. -Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). -Perform schedule variance analysis, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. -Support audit and compliance efforts by maintaining proper documentation and adhering to industry best practices. -Support risk management processes, including risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning. -Maintain accurate cost control databases and ensure alignment with contract terms and project goals. -Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling tools. -Ensure accurate tracking of contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and project documentation. -Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Finance, and other stakeholders to align project controls with strategic objectives. -Prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing schedule and cost performance. -Participate in project meetings, providing updates on schedule and cost performance. -Maintain change management logs and document all approved project modifications. -Assist in the training and mentoring of junior project controls staff. -Develop and distribute project status reports, cost reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs). -Track and monitor project budgets, expenditures, and commitments to ensure financial accuracy. -Conduct critical path analysis, resource leveling, and schedule risk assessments to improve project efficiency. -Support cost forecasting, cash flow projections, and earned value management (EVM) reporting.

What You Bring

-Ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise manner. -5 -7 years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or cost engineering in construction, infrastructure, aviation, or transportation industries. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field. -Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost Control, and Risk Management. -Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Procore, and financial reporting tools is a plus.
