Tasks

-Optimize application performance for both web and mobile platforms, including load times, rendering efficiency, and offline capabilities -Perform testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility, cross-platform functionality, and mobile device compatibility -Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations for both web and mobile platforms that display asset performance, maintenance metrics, and operational insights -Develop reusable component libraries and maintain code quality standards across web and mobile codebases -Implement responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches to ensure optimal user experience across all devices -Stay current with emerging web and mobile development technologies and best practices -Integrate front-end and mobile applications with RESTful APIs and data services from CMMS and other enterprise systems -Develop cross-platform mobile applications that enable field technicians and maintenance personnel to access real-time asset data -Design and develop responsive web applications and native mobile applications for a Data Analytics platform focused on industrial asset maintenance -Collaborate with backend developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions -Create and maintain technical documentation for front-end and mobile architecture and components -Conduct code reviews and participate in agile development processes -Implement mobile-specific features such as push notifications, offline data sync, and device hardware integration -Ensure applications meet government security standards and accessibility requirements (Section 508/WCAG)

What You Bring

-Familiarity with version control systems (Git) -Ability to work independently in a remote environment -Experience building data-driven applications with complex user interfaces for web and/or mobile platforms -Excellent communication and collaboration skills -Experience with mobile-specific features (push notifications, geolocation, camera integration, offline storage) -Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox, Appium, etc.) -Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies -Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) or CSS-in-JS solutions (Styled Components) -Familiarity with native mobile development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin) as a plus -Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues and solutions -Knowledge of TypeScript -Understanding of state management patterns and libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand, etc.) -Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Fastlane, CodePush, etc.) -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) -4+ years of professional front-end web and/or mobile development experience -Experience with React.js and modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, Redux, etc.) -Experience working with CMMS, ERP, or industrial asset management systems -Knowledge of mobile application development lifecycle and deployment processes -Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) -Experience with UI component libraries (Material-UI, Ant Design, React Native Paper, NativeBase, etc.) -Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail -Experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Metro, Vite, etc.) -Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, Victory Native, or similar -Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, Section 508) -Experience supporting government contracts or working in regulated environments -Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for both web and mobile platforms -Experience deploying applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store -Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles -Immediate vesting -Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs -Knowledge of web and mobile performance optimization techniques -Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development -Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
