The Role

Overview

Assist legal team with research, drafting, and contract analysis during 10‑week internship.

Tasks

-Prepare and present reports, presentations, or other deliverables as assigned. -Organizes and maintains records and reports pertaining to master service agreements, parent guaranties, joint venture agreements and other legal matters. -Maintains files and records, analyzes data, may coordinate preparation of reports. -Collaborate with team members to contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of departmental activities. -Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making processes or project development. -Reviews and analyzes contracts for compliance with legal and company standards. -Compiles reports summarizing contract terms and provisions.

-Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for this position. Individuals with temporary visas (including, but not limited to E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN) or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire. -Strong interpersonal and relationship building ability -Currently pursuing a law degree -Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software -Self-starter with the ability to manage his / her time and resources -Basic oral and written communication skills -Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive attitude
