Tasks

-Increase STV rail profile in the industry by participating in client activities and national associations such as AREMA. -Provide technical marketing and proposal pursuit assistance to procure key projects. -Lead client coordination and manage design-team for Rail Projects; manage the assembly of plans, specifications and construction estimate packages -Meet with freight rail clients to identify rail project opportunities. -Develop project scopes, fees, and schedules for design contracts. -Be able to plan, organize and supervise work of professionals and technicians, as well as develop and mentor staff -Manage budgets, schedules, quality of assigned projects. -Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity

What You Bring

-In-depth knowledge of Rail design standards. -Familiarity with freight rail operations and facilities. -Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. -Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years of satisfactory, full-time related experience. -Minimum of 8 years of experience in railway engineering including track design and project management. -FL PE License or licensed in another state. -Significant experience in project management for capital projects of varying magnitude and scope, including at least 8 years of engineering, design, and construction project management experience. -Knowledge and experience in managing projects in an active railroad environment -Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. -Demonstrated ability to lead a team on railway projects.
