Tasks

-Review E&O material and propose recommendations to sell, return to stock or scrap -Ensure timely month end close by validating all transactions for receiving and shipping are completed for incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, expense materials -Coordinate daily cycle counts, ensure minimum counts are completed, and investigate discrepancies. -Prioritize receiving material flow in a timely manner -Develops and implements procedures / policies within area managed -Delegation of daily priorities based on production schedules, operations requirements and other duties assigned by Manager -Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs -Participate in the resolution and tracking of problems/corrective action as assigned by the Manager -Coordination of year end physical inventory -Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities -Interface with other department leads and/or managers on work orders or kit shortages that could impact production support -Analyzing logistical problems and producing solutions -Interface with appropriate departments when necessary to resolve receiving issues found in house. -Participate in cross functional team meetings and communicate any updates to staff and/or manager

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience -Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus -Over five (5) years' working in a manufacturing environment -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite -Experience with implementation of lean manufacturing process (5S, SQDEC, Six Sigma), problem solving methodologies and continuous improvement methods -Ability to exert moderate physical effort, typically involving, some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds) -High School degree or general education degree (GED)
