Tasks

Reporting to the VP North America – Blade Systems (VP), this position is responsible for taking on-site field notes and working in close cooperation with local sales teams to identify, communicate and pursue sales opportunities of products manufactured/sold by ANDRITZ Bonetti Co. Inc. and ANDRITZ Bonetti Ltd. -Performs service/maintenance on existing doctoring equipment (set-up, profiling, …), as needed and as scheduled by the VP, in close cooperation with local sales teams. -Meets on-site with customers for existing and potential new projects. -Troubleshoots customer doctoring problems and provides and/or helps implement appropriate solutions. -Communicate with customers and/or our engineering department by phone, email, or TEAMS platform. -Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. -Takes on-site field notes, and sketches all dimensions for new doctoring equipment/spares quotes and orders. Digitizes, sends and explains all information collected to the engineering department. -Relieves local sales team during vacation. -Conducts on-site paper machine shutdown inspections/audits and prepares reports. -Prepares brief call report on each paper mill visit, including the contact information and purpose of each trip, and sends it to the VP and the local sales team. -Manages an expense budget within the guidelines provided. -Performs install supervision of new doctoring equipment and spares. -Communicates field activity, including sales opportunities, inter-company items and competition issues to the VP and the local sales team. -Helps the local sales teams build and maintain comprehensive databases on doctoring equipment, blades, and nozzles. -Ensures customer needs are defined and addressed in a timely manner. -Successfully completes online training courses to gain factory access authorization, and comply with all customer safety requirements.

What You Bring

-Ability to plan and book your own business trips. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.). -Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. By email and on TEAMS. -Must have strong attention to details. -Requires ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. -Languages: English -Trained in industrial design and with knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks). -Ability to read and understand technical prints required. -Extensive travel required within the assigned region (90% of time). By car and by air. -Requires proven mechanical aptitude and a strong entrepreneurial drive. -Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills. -Experience: Maintenance experience within the paper or other related applicable industry preferred. -Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. -Ability to organize and prioritize work. -Valid driving license and passport. -Ability to hand draw dimensional sketches. -Strong analytical ability required.
