Tasks

-May be required to be on call during non-business hours. -Maintains and safeguards company assets (plant, fleet, equipment and inventory). -Follows GE and customer EHS policies and rules. -Trains other employees on duties and responsibilities. -Performs, operates, maintains and completes calibrations on all industrial, commercial, analytical -Performs membrane exchanges, system diagnostics, troubleshoots commercial type RO systems. -Maintains contact with customer on site, communicating effectively, politely, and responding to -Assist with equipment or product delivery outside normal scope when needed due to business -Rinses ion exchange tanks and membrane systems to customer specifications at sites and ensures -Ensure that correct equipment required for the daily route is loaded, secured and meets quality -Takes water samples and conducts the following tests including but not limited to TDS, resistivity, pH, -Maintains good housekeeping at all times, which includes the vehicles and customer sites. -Acts as back up to Lead Service Technician. -Performs both dry and wet ion exchange tank exchanges. -Drive truck to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment to customer site. -Completes Vehicle Inspection Reports for pre-trip inspection. -Keep accurate accountability of inventory at each site and make changes as needed. What You Bring

-Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial -Ability & willingness to handle repetitive weight - 50 lbs -Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions -College coursework in chemistry -Knowledge of PLC logic/programing. -Associate’s Degree in electrical, industrial / mechanical, engineering, or water treatment -Knowledge of ion exchange and membrane theory and operation, as well as pretreatment -Ability to use hand truck and pallet jacks to move heavier loads -Class A License preferred -Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight - 50 lbs -Experience driving company vehicles such as panel vans or service trucks -Forklift certification/experience or ability to obtain forklift certification. -Vocational training in applicable fields such as electrical, industrial/mechanical maintenance, -Knowledge of commercial and industrial membrane systems and UV systems. -HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. -Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history -Ability & willingness to work in all weather conditions -Minimum of 4 years’ water industry experience in ion exchange, water treatment, reverse -Ability and willingness to: read, and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and regulations; to -PVC repair, electrical/electronic diagnosis, and pump and motor repairs or replacement. -Can perform system sanitations. -Ability & willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial
