Pipe Technician

Overview

Install interior piping, conduct drilling, rigging, demolition, and related heavy‑duty tasks.

Tasks

-Concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations. -Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies. -Install interior piping - flanged ductile iron, PVC glue-joint, copper and stainless steel press-fit. -Cleans tools, materials, and work areas. -Complete installations using layout and instructions provided by Field Manager.

Requirements

What You Bring

-1-2 years of experience on pipe crew ( water mains, storm, or sanitation sewers) -Metal and pipe cutting using abrasive blades on grinders, portabands, etc. -GED/High School diploma or related work experience. -Rigging and large/heavy material movement using material handlers and cranes. -Valid Driver’s License required. -Scaffold erection, manlift operation, working at heights and within fall protection.
