Entry-level engineer designing MEP and ITS systems for transportation projects.

Tasks
-Help ensure designs can be integrated into construction plans complying that the design is feasible for construction -Review engineering information produced by internal and external consultant teams to ensure the design meets the different technical requirements of the project -Work with both internal and external teams of experts and coordinate design activities between staff, external consultants, and clients -Prepare engineering reports about projects, including creating analytical two and three-dimensional models -Perform visits to the working site to oversee transport infrastructure activities -Perform Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and ITS engineering design tasks for Tender and Detailed Design phase of projects -Estimate quantities of materials and develop specifications to determine project feasibility and implement design enhancements -Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, and scheduling performance -Manage work through the planning and scheduling, as well as the review and approval of tasks to meet project deadlines -Productivity tools: Utilize cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance your productivity and efficiency. -Identify both schedule and quantities variances and develop recommendations for corrective action

What You Bring
-Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam pdf, and PowerPoint -Knowledge and experience with design software as AGI 32, and electrical, HVAC, CAD/MicroStation/BIM 3D applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering and airports -Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work -MS Degree with one-year experience acceptable. -Registered E.I.T preferred. -Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment; an eagerness to learn and apply your engineering skills to develop creative problem-solving designs/ideas -0-2+ years of experience in the design of highways, buildings and/or airports -Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specifications -Strong commitment to high standards, integrity, and ethics -Must be on a track for attaining a Professional Engineering (PE) registration -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field
