Leading in the preparation of bids, fee proposals and project programmes.
Play an active leadership role in a broad range of transport projects, including strategy development, feasibility studies, research, concept design and funding bids.
Working with other senior leaders in the office and nationally to drive growth and expand our market share; with a particular focus on public sector clients in London.
Making an active contribution to WSP’s four pillars (People; Clients & Growth; Operations; and Technical Excellence) and supporting our Leads in these roles.

Membership of relevant professional bodies.
Have a sound commercial awareness including effective financial management.
The ability to work at both strategic and detailed levels is highly desirable, along with up-to-date knowledge on latest transport legislation and policy.
A proven track record of leading and managing transport planning projects in the UK, focussing on London.
Project leadership experience, with the ability to review client briefs, develop our responses and lead delivery to delight our clients.
Experience in delivering projects in some of the following areas of transport planning: strategy/ policy, active travel, public transport, feasibility studies, scheme development, concept design, funding bids.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate confidently with clients, stakeholders, team members and present at meetings, workshops and public forums.
A proven track record of acting in client-facing roles and maintaining good client relationships.
