The Role

Overview

Assist with manufacturing tasks, maintain clean safe environment, and operate equipment.

Tasks

-Reports all problems that may inhibit the production of a quality product to the immediate foreman and/or supervisor. -Performs tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, organizing, etc., as needed. -Responsible for adherence to all company policies, including, but not limited to, the use of personal protective equipment, other health, safety, and environmental procedures. -Assists operators in production when necessary. -Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment. -Performs general housekeeping within production facilities. -Operate a lift truck, power, or air tool to accomplish designated tasks.

What You Bring

-General knowledge of the production process is valuable. -Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast paced, high productive work environment. -Ability to lift up to 750 pounds and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Regular and predictable attendance is essential to this position. -At least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. -A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience is required. -Must have strong communication skills working within a diverse population. -Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
