The Role
Overview
Maintain and troubleshoot DAS and Wi‑Fi networks in NYC subway and datacenters.

Tasks
-Analyzing the network and recommending upgrades/changes to the procedures and policies for continuous improvement. -Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on DAS, Wi-Fi, and other related systems -Traveling throughout NYC may be required to maintain wireless networks. -Performing diagnostic troubleshooting and replacing operational devices as needed. -Working with hand tools and test equipment in the NYC subway, datacenter, and office environments. -Providing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or assistance within a datacenter, office, and subway station environment. -Working at both new and existing locations handling preventative maintenance and ensuring all work is performed to the Boldyn Networks’ best practices and specifications. -Documenting, tracking, logging, and monitoring all network related problems and ensuring timely issue resolution. -Providing 24x365 support of the datacenter, DAS & Wi-Fi nodes, and responding as needed. -Moving and/or lifting material weighing up to a maximum of 60 pounds may be required. -Working on stepladders to reach equipment is required.

What You Bring
-Training and performing coax PIM and fiber optic cable testing and mitigating issues on platforms in the datacenter and in the NYC subway environment. -A solid understanding of the testing and troubleshooting of a cellular network. DAS, integration, Wi-Fi and Public safety is a plus. -A great track record of maintaining your own safety and that of others, ensuring that all incidents and potential hazards are reported. OSHA-10 certification required, but will be provided, if needed. -3+ years of experience in RF system build out and working with various RF hardware components such as cables and related test equipment is essential. -PIM testing and fiber optic cable testing experience is a plus. Training will be provided if needed.
