Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Plan and develop work plans for project related operations -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Coordinate the procurement of temporary or permanent materials as assigned by the Project Engineer -Coordinate operational survey needs with survey department -Provide daily support and coordination with craft supervision -Assist with environmental monitoring as needed -Ensures compliance of company policies -Analyze collected data to monitor production and modify as necessary to achieve maximum production -Coordinate and undertake planning and implementation of construction activities, as assigned by the Project Engineer or Superintendent(s). -Assist in the generation of daily reports and assembly and maintenance of proper job records

What You Bring

-A valid driver's license is required for this position. -Ability to prioritize and handle deadlines -Ability to accurately read contract drawings -Regular, reliable attendance -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Previous internship or experience in a construction setting is a plus -Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or Construction Management disciplines considered) -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Extensive Knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD and Primavera P6 scheduling program is a plus
