Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our Land Development team in our Roanoke, VA office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. The internship offers hands-on learning in planning, designing, and executing structural components in land development projects. You'll gain experience with software tools used for structural design and drafting, participate in site assessments, and help ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. -Able to follow general directions and work with limited independence on basic computations -Good organizational skills -Demonstrates willingness to accept new challenges and learn specialized field -Basic knowledge of the firm’s policies, practices and procedures -Basic knowledge of software required for position -
