Tasks

-Work with cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and software programmers to: -Develop and validate engineering calculations for Gas & Steam turbines. -Implement AI/ML models and intuitive UI/UX solutions to support data analysis and decision-making. -Support integration testing and data validation workflows for rotating machinery and turbine performance. -Mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with all organizational levels. -Redesign, implement, and maintain software solutions quickly and efficiently, delivering complete applications. -Communicate status, progress, and deliverables to the DSE team frequently. -Develop and maintain software solutions for data acquisition, analytics, and engineering applications supporting power generation product validation. -Participate in software architecture and code reviews, taking lead roles where required. -Enhance current data acquisition software by integrating new hardware devices, adding greater automation and intelligence, improving UI/UX, and enabling real-time monitoring capabilities.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with signal processing concepts and post-processing data for rotating machinery. -Strong understanding of instrumentation, sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition hardware. -Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities. -Willing and able to travel worldwide up to 5–10% of the time. -Boundary-less thinker with the ability to drive innovation in software and data systems engineering. -Education: BE/B.Tech in Engineering or B.Sc. in Sciences (minimum); ME/M.Tech or M.Sc. preferred. -Knowledge of flow meter calculations (ASME nozzles, orifices, venturis), NIST REFPROP 8, ASME steam tables, heat and mass balance, adiabatic firing temperature, turbine efficiency. -Experience: Minimum 5 years in software development. -Proficiency in C, C#, FORTRAN, Java, Python, LabVIEW (Actor Framework & FPGA), ASP.NET, MVC/MVVM patterns, and SQL database programming.
